Veterinary Surgeon, Dr Jacqueline O'Brien MVB, Cert IVAS (International veterinary acupuncture society) has worked in large, busy equine veterinary practices for over 20 years and is fully established in this field. 
AcuVet Ireland was set up in 2018 in a bid to achieve and maintain optimal health in our horses and pets.

By law, in Ireland, acupuncture must be undertaken by a suitably qualified veterinary surgeon. Our vet qualified from the Veterinary College of Ireland, UCD in 1997 and has been working in Veterinary Practice ever since.
Not all acupuncture certificates are the same. In 2016, our vet undertook a two year course with the world renowned International Veterinary Acupuncture Society to receive full certification in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine.
